
Samantha is a licensed clinical social worker in Virginia and an independent clinical social worker in West Virginia. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from the University of the Sciences and a Master of Social Work from Tulane University.
She brings a direct, collaborative approach to therapy and often integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into her work. Her style is grounded in clarity, structure, and practicality while maintaining a strong focus on emotional awareness and personal growth. She also incorporates mindfulness-based techniques to help clients build present-moment awareness and develop healthier responses to stress and emotional intensity.
Samantha has a broad range of clinical experience across multiple settings. She has worked in a community clinic providing short-term, solution-focused therapy to individuals with little to no insurance, as well as in a psychiatric inpatient unit supporting individuals in acute crisis. She currently provides therapy services to individuals on federal probation while maintaining her private practice, giving her a unique perspective working with diverse populations and complex clinical needs.
Outside of her clinical work, Samantha values a balanced and grounded lifestyle. She enjoys reading, exercising, spending time in nature (especially water), and being with her family.
